Elon Musk has announced that Starlink will soon offer uninterrupted internet access on mobile devices.
Elon Musk revealed on the platform X that Starlink will start providing direct internet service to mobile phones. Initially, this service will be available exclusively through T-Mobile in the United States. However, Musk mentioned that the long-term goal is to expand this service to all mobile operators.
The Dawn of Starlink Mobile Internet
Starlink, a system that offers high-speed internet access through SpaceX's satellites orbiting the Earth, is particularly revolutionary for rural and remote areas where internet access is weak. Now, this service is extending to mobile devices, enabling users to enjoy seamless internet access wherever they are.
The collaboration between Starlink and T-Mobile will initially be exclusive to T-Mobile subscribers in the U.S. However, as Elon Musk indicated, the service is planned to roll out to all mobile operators over time, which means it will soon be available through other carriers as well.
Starlink to Provide Free Mobile Internet!
Starlink will offer internet access to phones in emergencies, and even non-subscribers will be able to benefit from the service.
According to information shared by Ben Longmier, 26 new satellites have been deployed into orbit as part of SpaceX's "Direct to Cell" program. These satellites will primarily cover T-Mobile's service area across the United States, ensuring users in these regions experience a seamless internet connection without dead zones.
The partnership between Starlink and T-Mobile aims to solve internet access issues, providing greater freedom to users in terms of connectivity.
